Reports
Learn how reports can help you gain insights from various testing activities by outlining their capabilities, requirements, and limitations.
Reports in the Test Management provide comprehensive insights into the test runs, allowing you to analyze the effectiveness of testing efforts. These reports can be customized, scheduled, shared, and downloaded, making them a powerful tool for continuous improvement through real-time visibility of test run status and test results.
Reports allow you to see which tests have been run or are yet to be run, along with their results and key metrics. You can use this report to:
- Easily find all the test runs.
- Track the number of open/closed linked Jira issues in the context of test runs and test results.
- See how much time has passed since the test run started.
- Check out all the test runs performed or assigned to a specific user.
Types of Report
You can generate two types of test run reports at the project level:
- Test Run Summary Report
- Test Run Detailed Report

Understand and use filters
Filters apply to the report at the time the report is created.
Filters play a crucial role in customizing reports, enabling you to focus on specific test cases that meet particular criteria. This ensures the generated report is relevant and tailored to your needs. The following filters are available in the reports:
-
Status of Test Case:
Filter test cases based on their current status, such as Passed, Failed, or Blocked. This helps in identifying areas that need attention. -
Test Case Type:
Narrow down the report to include specific types of test cases, such as Functional, Regression, or Integration. This is particularly useful for targeted analysis. -
Test Case Priority:
Prioritize your report by focusing on test cases with specific priority levels, such as High, Medium, or Low. This ensures that the most critical issues are highlighted. -
Test Case Assignee:
Filter the report by the team member assigned to the test cases. This is useful for tracking individual or team performance and ensuring accountability.
