Link Asana tasks to test cases

Learn how to integrate Asana with Test Management to streamline testing workflows, better tracking, and enhance management.

Asana enables robust traceability between tasks and test cases. This documentation guides you through creating or adding existing Asana tasks to test cases.

You can add your Asana tasks while creating a new test case or editing an existing one. It allows you to directly associate relevant Asana tasks within the test case form.

  1. Navigate to the create/edit existing test case window in the desired project.

  2. Click Asana from the dropdown menu in the Requirements field.

  3. Click click here below the Requirements field.

    Click click here

  4. Enter the following details:
    • Organisation and Project name.
    • Choose one of the tabs:
      • Create issue to generate a new Asana task.
      • Update existing issue to link an existing Asana task.
      • Enter all the relevant details.

    Enter organization name and project name

  5. Click Create/Update.

BrowserStack’s Test Management has linked new or updated Asana tasks to the corresponding test case.
