Platforms Coverage
This widget helps you understand the coverage of your automation tests across various device-os-browser combinations. A high number of combinations and a well-distributed percentage of tests in multiple combinations indicate a more rigorous testing activity across multiple device-os-browser combinations.
Drill down for more information
Test Observability enables you to investigate more contextual information on all dashboard widgets using the drill-down feature.
You can use the drill-down feature in the Platforms Coverage widget to analyze more details on the tests that run on various devices, browsers, or OS. For example, if you see a disproportionate number of test failures on one platform, you can investigate the tests run on that platform.
Follow these steps to use the drill-down feature:
- Hover on any point in the Platforms Coverage widget and click View breakdown. A project-wise breakdown of the metrics for the selected date range opens up in a side pane.
- Click View tests to get to the tests that run on various device-os-browser combinations.
This opens Tests Health in a new tab with the applicable filters. On Tests Health, you can view the individual tests that that run on various device-os-browser combinations for further investigation.
