Readable text and layout
App Accessibility checks if text is readable, and can be easily resized without impacting readability or functionality. Your app’s text should be sized according to accessibility guidelines. The text should also adapt to system-wide size settings on iOS and Android. This makes the text readable and also allows users with visual impairments to adjust font sizes without loss of readability.
Consider how layout, spacing, and interactive elements adapt to resizing. When text resizing leads to truncation, provide ways to reveal the full content, such as tooltips or expanding views. Prioritizing text resizing enhances accessibility and creates a more inclusive user experience.
App Accessibility also checks whether the content is accessible and readable without requiring two-dimensional scrolling on small screens. The content should not lose information or functionality when zoomed in or viewed at different screen sizes.
