Test iOS Apps Installed from the App Store
The following information will guide you how to install and test iOS apps downloaded from the Apple App Store, leveraging the App Accessibility platform and real iOS devices. This allows for comprehensive testing of your app’s accessibility features and functionality on a real iOS device.
Prerequisites
- An active App Accessibility account.
- The app you want to test is available on the Apple App Store.
- iOS device running iOS 10 or higher.
Install apps from the App Store to do app accessibility testing
Follow these steps to test your App Store app on App Accessibility:
- Log in to the App Accessibility dashboard.
- Select a test on the right navigation and choose the desired testing device and OS combination.

On the App Accessibility session screen, click Install via App Store.
A Live session appears with the selected device and App Store loaded.

Log in to the App Store using your Apple ID to install your app.
- Search your app and tap Get to install.
After installation, you can test the app’s accessibility on the selected iOS device.
Your login credentials are completely secure as all data from your test session are cleaned up from the BrowserStack real device after you end the App Accessibility test session.
