Learn how to test your beta apps installed via TestFlight
Apple TestFlight is an app that allows application developers to upload the beta versions of their apps to App Store Connect. Developers can then invite testers to test the beta apps before the apps are released on the App Store. Testers need to install TestFlight on their devices and then install the beta apps for testing.
App Accessibility enables you to test your beta apps on BrowserStack real iOS devices that have TestFlight preinstalled. You can sign in to TestFlight, install your app on the BrowserStack iOS device, and continue testing your app.
Supported devices
Due to technical considerations, app installation via TestFlight is restricted to iPhone 14 and above devices running iOS v16.0 and higher.
Test apps installed via TestFlight
To test apps installed via TestFlight, follow these steps:
- Log in to the App Accessibility dashboard.
- Select the desired iOS device and OS combination.
- On the App Accessibility session screen, click Install via TestFlight.
In the App Accessibility test session, TestFlight is launched on the device. - Sign in to TestFlight using your Apple ID and password.
- Install your app and proceed with testing.
Your login credentials are completely secure as all data from your test session are cleaned up from the BrowserStack real device after you end your App Accessibility test session.
