Testing across multiple device-browser combinations sequentially could be cumbersome, repetitive, and time-consuming. To improve productivity, you can use the multi-device testing feature of Live to run multiple test sessions of your websites or web apps simultaneously on different device-browser combinations.

Key benefits

• Optimize testing time and increase browser-device coverage: You can test your website on two different device-browser combinations at the same time. This helps reduce the testing time and ensures that most of your end user’s environments are covered.
• Test and compare against different configurations: You can configure different settings such as different locations or network conditions on both devices. You can then test and compare your website behavior against different configurations side-by-side.

Types of Multi-Device Testing

There are two types of Multi-Device Testing:

• Single tab: You can test on up to two real devices simultaneously in a single browser tab.
• Multiple tabs: You can test on up to two real devices simultaneously in two separate browser tabs.
