Get started with Bug Capture
Learn how to install or integrate Bug Capture.
You can get started with Bug Capture using the following options:
- Install the Bug Capture extension
- Integrate Web SDK Widget (Available only on Enterprise plans)
Install the Bug Capture extension
The extension is a self-serve recorder that’s easy for anyone to install and use in a few clicks. Requires the user to have a Bug Capture account.
The Bug Capture extension is supported on all Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera).
To install the Bug Capture extension, follow these steps:
- Go to the Bug Capture extension page on the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome.
- In the confirmation message box, click Add extension.
A success message is displayed confirming that the extension has been added to your browser. You can also pin the extension for easy access.
Integrate Web SDK Widget
You can embed Bug Capture in your web page with a line of code to allow anyone to report bugs with Bug Capture, even if they do not have an account.
The Bug Capture SDK Widget is only available on Live Enterprise plans. To integrate the Web SDK Widget, contact your Customer Engineer or BrowserStack Support.
