App Patching

As an enterprise customer, you might encounter webpage errors and other issues while using the biometric feature on BrowserStack devices. Since BrowserStack instruments your app and resigns it with a BrowserStack certificate, the app is treated as invalid during app testing, which causes the app to crash.

Using the Android and iOS app patching features, you can convert the original app to an instrumented app and use sensor instrumentation features such as Biometrics. To convert the app, you can use a BrowserStack endpoint where you can upload the unsigned original app and receive the instrumented app as the response. Once the app is patched, it can use the sensor instrumentation features on BrowserStack devices without any error.
