Test iOS entitlements of your app

An entitlement for an iOS app gives the app security permissions and rights to special capabilities. Check out Apple documentation for information about iOS entitlements.

App Live enables you to test entitlements of iOS enterprise certificate signed apps on BrowserStack real iOS devices. With support for iOS entitlements testing, you can test use cases such as push notifications, keychain sharing, data protection, testing App Store code signed builds using iTunes Connect, etc.

Supported apps

App Live supports testing of entitlements for iOS enterprise certificate signed apps that are uploaded from your system or from a public URL.

Enable iOS entitlements testing for your app

Prerequisite:
Ensure that your app is a supported app.

1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
2. On the App Live dashboard, upload your app from your system or from a public URL.
3. After your app is uploaded, click the configuration icon next to the file name of your app.
4. Under App Configurations, enable iOS Entitlements.
5. Select your device from the list of available devices in the device listing on the right panel, to launch your test session.
