Offline mode on BrowserStack real iOS devices

Offline mode in devices refers to the state of the device being disconnected from the internet. App Live enables you to test use cases for your apps in no-network conditions, by using the offline mode on BrowserStack real iOS devices.

The applications that check for NWPath.Status and navigator.onLine for offline mode status are not supported.

Supported devices

Offline mode is supported on the following devices:

  • Devices running iOS 11 and above.
  • Devices running iPadOS 15 and above.

Enable offline mode

  1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
  2. Upload or install your app, and select the device from the device listing to launch your test session.
  3. On the App Live vertical toolbar, click iOS Settings.
  4. On the iOS Settings prompt, under General Settings, enable Offline Mode Simulation.
You see a message on the dashboard that offline mode simulation is enabled. Enable Offline Mode
