Launch an App Live test session from the dashboard

Know how to launch a test session from the dashboard.

You can launch a test session from the App Live dashboard.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure the following:

• You have a BrowserStack account. If you do not have a BrowserStack account, you can sign up for free or purchase a plan.

• Ensure that you use the Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser on your system to launch your App Live test session.

Launch a session

To launch an App Live session, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the App Live dashboard.
   To learn more about the panels on the App Live dashboard, see App Live dashboard overview.
2. Upload or install your app from the list of supported app sources.
3. Select your device from the device listing.
   Your App Live test session is launched. You can test your app using the App Live features.

The App Live dashboard displays the list of app sources, and real Android and iOS devices that you can test your apps on.

The following image provides a view of the App Live dashboard:

1. Select Source: List of app sources from which you can upload or install your app for testing.
2. Device listing: List of real Android and iOS devices on which you can test your apps.
