Test your app in Low Battery Mode on BrowserStack real iOS devices
Note:
This feature is available only under Team Pro and Enterprise Pro plans. For more details check out our pricing page.
The Low Battery Mode in an iOS device reduces power usage when the battery is low, enabling the device to operate longer before it is charged. You can enable Low Battery Mode for the battery by using the Settings app. Enabling Low Battery Mode affects the functionality of some features, as listed in Apple documentation.
App Live enables you to test your app by using the Low Battery Mode on BrowserStack real iOS devices.
Enable Low Battery Mode
Note:
When you enable Low Power Mode on BrowserStack real iOS devices, the idle timeout of your App Live session is automatically changed to 30 seconds. If your session remains inactive for more than 30 seconds, you are logged out of the session.
- Log in to the App Live dashboard.
- On the App Live dashboard, upload or install your app and select the iOS device from the device listing, to launch your test session.
- On the App Live vertical toolbar, click iOS Settings.
- On the iOS Settings prompt, enable Low Battery Mode.
You see a prompt stating Low Battery Mode is enabled, and idle session timeout is changed to 30 seconds.
