Multi-Device Testing

Testing your app on multiple device sequentially could be cumbersome, repetitive, and time-consuming. To improve productivity, you can use App Live’s Multi-Device Testing feature to run multiple test sessions of your app simultaneously on multiple devices.

How it helps

• Optimize testing time and increase device coverage: You can test your app on four different devices at the same time. This helps reduce the testing time and ensures that most of your end user’s devices are covered.
• Test and compare across different configurations: You can configure different settings, such as location, language, or network conditions, on various devices and then test and compare your app’s behavior against these configurations side-by-side.

Types of Multi-Device Testing

There are two types of Multi-Device Testing:

• Single tab: You can test your app on up to four real devices simultaneously in a single browser tab.
• Multiple tabs: You can test your app on up to two real devices simultaneously in two separate browser tabs.
