PDF scanner reports
View a report of all the accessibility issues in your PDFs with the areas of issues highlighted.
After a PDF scan is complete, the PDF scanner generates a report that illustrates all the accessibility issues in the PDF. You can view these reports in the PDF scanner section on the Accessibility Testing Dashboard.
To view a PDF scan report, follow these steps:
- Launch Accessibility Testing Dashboard.
- In the navigation menu, click PDF scanner.
The PDF scanner page lists all the PDF scan reports. It has the following columns:
- Reports: The report’s name, the user who ran the PDF scan, and the time of the scan run.
- Summary: A preview of the spread of the issues across different pages and PDF metadata.
- Issue breakdown: A split of the issues as per PDF/UA-2 and WCAG 2.2 standards.
- Click the report that you want to view. You can search for the report by the user or scan name.
- On the report page that you open, you can view the following tabs:
- All issues: Shows all the issues related to both PDF/UA-2 and WCAG 2.2 standards.
- PDF/UA-2: Shows the issues related to the PDF/UA-2 standard.
- WCAG 2.2: Shows the issues related to the WCAG 2.2 standard.
- The issues are classified according to Page Content and Metadata. Also, the right pane displays a snapshot of the PDF. You can click on any specific issue to know more details.
- When you click an issue, the PDF Scanner highlights the parts of the PDF that have that particular issue, on the right pane.
