If the browser fails to load when you start recording, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- You have a VPN installed on your machine or Firewall restrictions that are blocking the required endpoints for Low Code Automation. Consult your system or network administrator and whitelist the following endpoints on your network:
- *.browserstack.com*
- *.percy.io*
- *.github.com/*
- You have security software installed on your machine that is blocking the process running on port 9222. Contact your system or network administrator to unblock it and try again.
- If you are using Mac OS, you may have downloaded the incorrect desktop app for your OS. Low Code Automation offers separate desktop app builds for Intel Chip and Apple Chip machines. Check this for more information.
- You may have a Chrome driver path already set in your System environment or PATH variables. To confirm, try the following commands from the command prompt on your machine:
- chromedriver --version (This should be compatible with your current Chrome browser version)- For Windows: where chromedriver.exe
- For MacOS: which chromedriver
Check if any of these commands return a path that you used earlier to install the Chrome driver. The desktop app automatically manages Chrome driver versions on your machine. If you have a different Chrome driver path configured in your System Environment or PATH variables, remove the path and try relaunching the Low Code Automation desktop app.
If you continue to encounter issues after trying the above steps, contact Support.
