Yes, you can install an app from the App Store or Play Store. While there isn't a capability to directly download and install an app from the App Store or the Play Store, here is a workaround:
- Start a BrowserStack App Automate session with a sample or test app.
- In your test script, include code that minimizes this app on session launch and opens the App Store or Play Store. Next, include code to log in to App Store/Play Store, search for the app you want to install, and then install the app.
