BrowserStackLocal app UI options
The BrowserStackLocal app helps create a network tunnel between your private network and the BrowserStack infrastructure. This allows the mobile devices to access the non-public test mobile applications hosted in your internal environments.
The BrowserStackLocal app menu includes following options:
Menu items | Description |
Status | Shows the connection status of the BrowserStackLocal app. The connection status can be one of the following: Starting, Connected, Disconnected, Stopped |
Disconnect/Connect | Disconnects or connects the BrowserStack Local with App Accessibility. |
Options | Opens the Local Console where you can configure settings for advanced use cases such as local mobile applications that are behind proxy/firewall settings. |
Launch | Use this option to launch a BrowserStack local session. |
Open at Login | Check this option if you want the BrowserStackLocal app to open automatically when you log in to your local system. |
Documentation | Opens the Local Testing documentation. |
About BrowserStack Local | Shows the Local app version and describes what the Local app does. |
Check for Updates | Checks whether any BrowserStack Local app update is available. |
Quit BrowserStack Local | Use this option to stop the BrowserStack Local app from running for the use cases where you do not want to test a local mobile application. It disconnects the BrowserStack Local app from the App Accessibility session. |
