Configure Timezones

In case your website changes depending on your end-user’s timezone, you can test that functionality by specifying a timezone you want to test in. You can configure your tests to run on a custom timezone by using the timezone capability. Using this capability will ensure that the remote browser in the BrowserStack cloud will behave as if it is positioned in the timezone that you specified.

Set the timezone capability using browserstack.json

Add the timezone key and the country within the run_settings object in the browserstack.json file as shown in the following code snippet:

Set the timezone capability using the CLI

To use the CLI to configure the timezone from the available list of timezones for your Cypress tests, the sample command is as follows:

browserstack-cypress run --timezone=London
