Test native and hybrid apps using Espresso framework on BrowserStack
Espresso is a mobile automation framework that helps you write functional UI tests for your Android applications. BrowserStack App Automate supports Espresso testing on a wide range of real Android devices. If you are new to App Automate, we recommend checking our Getting started guide for Espresso testing.
Our Espresso API enables you to integrate and run your Espresso tests on BrowserStack. Espresso API follows the general conventions of REST. The API reference is organised into four main sections :
Upload application under test to BrowserStack.
Upload Espresso test-suites on BrowserStack.
Start execution of Espresso tests and fetch overall test build summary.
Get access to detailed test results and debugging information.
Test your multi-module apps using our customized apis.
If we make backward-incompatible changes to our APIs, we release a new version for Espresso API. The current version of Espresso API is v2. We strongly recommend you use the latest version whenever possible.
