Manage dynamic elements

Learn how to manage dynamic elements in Percy

Percy includes a dedicated dynamic elements section to help you manage dynamic content effectively. This feature allows you to ignore how carousels, banners, cookies, and ads are handled in visual differences.

Toggle options for dynamic elements

Enable or disable default settings for these elements:

  • Carousels
  • Banners and cookies
  • Ads
  • Add custom classes

By default, these options are turned on to automatically detect and ignore commonly used classes for carousels, banners, cookies, and third-party ads (for example, google_ads_iframe, google_ads, advertisement, amazon-adsystem, meta-ads). You can also add custom class names to ignore additional dynamic data by providing class names separated by semicolons.

This feature helps you reduce unnecessary noise in visual differences, ensuring you can focus on meaningful visual changes.
